| Description
| - 37 species of Orthoptera, 2 species of Mantodea, 2 species of Dermaptera, 1 species of Blattaria and 1 species of Isoptera were found during three collectional trips to the Northern part of Corfu Island (NW Greece, approx. 39.38N/19.51E) conducted in 2001, 2002 and 2003. Seven species of the order Orthoptera are recorded for the first time from this island: Platycleis affinis affinis Fieber, 1853, Yersinella raymondi (Yersin, 1860), Tetrix subulata (Linnaeus, 1758), Sphingonotus caerulans (Linnaeus, 1776), Acrotylus insubricus (Scopoli, 1786), Chorthippus brunneus brunneus (Thunberg, 1815) and Chorthippus lesinensis (Krauss, 1888. The findings of the species Yersinella raymondi from Corfu documented its occurrence in Greece. Actually, the fauna of order Orthoptera of Corfu consists of 66 species. Data about the occurrence and the habitats of observed species were presented in this contribution.
