Description	The oocytes and early embryos are sensitive to hyperthermia and this is apparently related to the absence of an inducible synthesis of HSP 70. The expresion of HSP 70 was detected in the growing and fully grown porcine oocytes by immunoblotting analysis in vitro under both physiological temperature and after a heat shock. We demonstrated that HSP 70 was stored during the growth of oocytes and we speculated that this maternal resources are important for the meiotic maturation of oocytes and for the early develpment of embryos.
