  • Poměr velkých a malých škrobových zrn byl stanoven metodou GFFF v optimalizovaných podmínkách. Sledování bylo provedeno u 108 vzorků. Nejvyšší poměr velkých a malých škrobových zrn A/B měly dvouřadé ozimé odrůdy. Na druhé straně, dvouřadé odrůdy jarního sladovnického ječmene měl nejnižší poměr A/B. Poměr velkých a malých škrobových zrn A/B šestiřadých ozimých odrůd byly mezi předchozími skupinami. Získaný vztah mezi poměrem velkých a malých škrobových zrn a sladovnických vlastností pro tento soubor odrůd ječmene je v kontrastu s předchozími očekáváními, které předpokládaly, že odrůdy jarního sladovnického ječmene mají větší poměr velkých a malých škrobových zrn než ozimé. GFFF se ukázala, jako vhodná metoda pro stanovení poměru A/B škrobových zrn. (cs)
  • The ratio of large and small barley starch granules was determined by gravitation field-flow fractionation (GFFF) under optimized conditions. Monitoring was conducted with 108 samples. The two-row winter varieties had the highest ratios of large and small starch granules A/B. On the other hand, the two-row varieties of spring malting barley had the lowest ratios A/B. The ratios of large and small starch granules A/B of six-row winter varieties were betwen the previous groups. The obtaind relationship between the ratio of large and small starch granules and malting properties for this set of barely varieties is opposite to previous expectations, assuming that spring malting barley varieties have higher ratios of large and small starch granules than winter ones. GFFF was shown as a suitable technique for the determination of the ratio A/B starch granules.
