Description	Monitoring of the contaminants in food is very important for the detection and elimination of health hazards. Maximum concentrations of many food additives and contaminants in food and drinks are limited with legislative regulations given by “The Czech Food Law” No. 110/1997 Coll. in the version of the law No.456/2004 Coll. in the Czech Republic. This work presents an overview of the results of the monitoring of the 55 most important contaminants in brewing raw materials and beer required by The Czech Food Law during 2004. (en) V současné době se pozornost široké i odborné veřejnosti stále více soustřeďuje na problematiku zdravotního rizika spojeného s konzumací potravin. Povolené koncentrace některých cizorodých látek v nápojích jsou legislativně limitovány příslušnými vyhláškami k zákonu „O potravinách a tabákových výrobcích“ č. 110/1997 Sb. ve znění zákona č. 456/2004 Sb1. Výrobce musí prokazovat zdravotní nezávadnost svého výrobku, tedy že jeho výrobek nepřekračuje definované maximální přípustné hodnoty cizorodých látek. Cílem tohoto sdělení je podat přehled o výskytu sledovaných cizorodých látek, jejichž obsah byl stanoven v r. 2004 ve VÚPS Praha. (cs)
