Description
| - In the past ramming devices parameters were determined only from the falling back of projectile point of view. Moreover the times of the individual functional cycles were recorded. Contemporary measurement tools enable to establish parameters as ramming velocity and ramming force and assess ramming quality according to acknowledged standards. The presented measuring system enables to determine the main hydraulic parameters of the ramming device: input and output pressures, input and output flows, and temperature in hydraulic system. Parameters are stored by the BMC measuring system and afterwards they are analyzed by the Next View 4.3 software. Moreover, in the paper there are described possibilities of projectile extraction force measuring depending on the projectile displacement and time. Examples are given according to STANAG 4517. Results of technical experiments will be exploited for procedures of technical inspections both current and in future. Afterwards the data are analyzed off line.
