Description
  • The paper deals with kinematics analysis of the feeding mechanism with two degrees of freedom that is used for the 152 mm self-propelled howitzer M77. The relations are shown for calculating positions, velocities and accelerations of individual elements and chosen point of the mechanism. The numeric method is used to solve the problem using the Newton correction method, where subroutines for solving linear algebraic system are used not only to solve transcendent algebraic system for determining angular position, but also to solve linear algebraic system for determining angular velocities and accelerations. Calculating responses of the mechanism is enabled by adding idealized its initial angular position, velocities and accelerations. Next the matrix method is used for analyzing of the feeding device.
