Description	The nowadays world is full of various mechatronics applications functioning just for operative procedures facilitation, in rescue operations, assisting at research procedures, education processes, even only just for entertainment and fun. Quite a few of them can be used not only for humankind flowering, but also for its destruction as well. The Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are the significant class among them. Especially in the Czech environment, this threat was not analysed sufficiently up to now, even though the UAVs are potentially applicable for civilian targets damaging or military objects jeopardizing. Moreover, they are simply accessible for unconfined groups of people with unforeseeable intentions. This paper deals with technical analyse of this threat, an applicable reconnaissance and partly with a feasible defence.
