Description
  • The paper presents a new method as a variant of an ultrasound non-linear wave modulation spectroscopy where one of the exciting ultrasound signals is replaced by electrical signal. The ultrasound exciting changes the resistance of metal body with cracks and this effect is detected by creation of new harmonic component in electrical signal. This solution has some advantageous connected with use of electrical testing signal and lowering of parasite effects. The theoretical sensitivity of this method and its limitation by parasitic effects is also discussed. Therefore the new variants of circuitry are designed and used for experimental verifying. The usability of this principle and possibility of minimisation of parasitic effects are confirmed by practical experiments.
