Description	The paper deals with life cycle costing of vehicles. The whole life cycle of vehicles is divided into particular stages that are characterized by the type and the amount of expended costs. The paper presents a general model of life cycle cost of vehicles. Life cycle cost of vehicles in the operation stage is the focus of special attention. The closing part of the paper states a calculation example of life cycle cost of the vehicle Land Rover. Předložený příspěvek se zabývá analýzou nákladů životního cyklu vozidel. V článku je celý životní cyklus vozidel rozdělen do jednotlivých etap, které jsou charakteristické typem a množstvím vynaložených nákladů. Je zde uveden obecný model nákladů životního cyklu. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována nákladům životního cyklu vozidel v etapě jejího provozu. V závěru článku je uveden příklad výpočtu nákladů životního cyklu vozidla Land Rover. Jedna z možností praktického využití výpočtu nákladů životního cyklu vozidel je stanovení doby životnosti vozidel. (cs)
