| - Nový druh motolice čeledi Haploporidae, Culuwiya cichlidorum n. sp., je popsán ze střeva cichlidy Cichlasoma maculicauda z Nikaraguy. Nový druh se odlišuje od ostatních druhů rodu, dříve zařazených do rodů Saccocoelioides Szidat, 1954 a Carassotrema Park, 1938, tím, že má střevní větve dosahující až do druhé poloviny varlete a zatočeného semenného váčku. Nový druh je rovněž charakterizován malým, hruškovitým tělem, dobře vyvinutým předhltanem, velkým hltanem, dobře vyvinutými žloutkovými trsy spojenými na úrovni varlete, které je umístěno u zadního konce těla, dělohou s kličkami zasahujícími před varle v oblasti za břišní přísavkou a malým počtem poměrně velkých vajíček, která obsahující miracidia bez očních skvrn. - A new haploporid trematode, Culuwiya cichlidorum n. sp., is described from the intestine of the black-belt cichlid (Cichlasoma maculicauda) from Nicaragua. It differs from congeneric species, previously placed to Saccocoelioides Szidat, 1954 and Carassotrema Park, 1938, in possessing the intestinal ceca reaching up to the posterior half of the testis and a bipartite, swollen external seminal vesicle. The new species is also characterized by a small, pyriform body, a well-developed prepharynx, a large pharynx, extensive vitelline follicles, confluent posterior to the testis that is situated near the posterior extremity, the uterus limited to the pre-testicular and post-acetabular region, and few, but relatively large eggs without eye-spotted miracidia.
