Description
| - A simple assay by polymerace chain reaction was used for the detection of Borrelia burgdorferi, causative agent of Lyme borreliosis (LB). It involves no DNA purification and is based on the amplification of a specific region of ospA gene of B. burgdorferi, followed by direct detection of the PCR product with SYBR Green I by agarose gel electrophoresis. The proposed reliable, rapid, unexpensive and specific technique could form the basis of laboratory tests for routine and identification of Lyme-disease spirochete in different samples.

- Jednoduchá metoda s využitím polymerázové řetězové reakce byla využita k průkazu Borrelia burgdorferi, původce lymské boreliózy (LB). Nevyžaduje purifikaci DNA a je založena na amplifikaci specifické oblasti genu ospA B. burgdorferi s přímou detekcí produktu PCR pomocí SYBR Gree I na agarózové elektroforéze. Předložená metoda je spolehlivá, rychlá, levná a specifická technika, která by mohla představovat základ rutinní identifikace spirochét LB v různých typech vzorků. (cs)
