Description
  • V r. 2002 bylo studováno složení fytoplanktonu, bimasa sinic a řas a produkce toxinů (PPIA, HPCL) ve fytoplanktonu spolu s fyzikálně-chemickými parametry tak, aby bylo možno odhadnout nebezpečí vzniku toxických sinicových vodních květů v několika vybraných rekreačních jezerech severního Polska: Jeziorak, Jagodne, Szymoneckie, Szymon, Taltowisko, Siecino and Trzesiecko. Výsledky ukázaly, že koncentrace celkového P (0.1 mg P/l) a N (1.5 mg N/l) ve studovaných jezerech téměř přesahovaly limit pro eutrofní stupeň, stanovený pro vodní nádrže. Ve vzorkách odebíraných v druhé polovině léta dominovaly oscillatoriální a nostokální sinice. Koncentrace chlorofylu-a byla téměř vždy vyšší než 10 ug/l, což odpovídalo koncentraci mikrocystinů (dmMC-RR, MC-RR, MC-YR and MC-LR) 4-5 ug/l. Již při koncentraci vyšší než 2-4 ug/l může dojít k symptomům toxicity při koupání, což bylo nalezeno ve většině jezer. (cs)
  • In 2002, studies of species composition, biomass and toxin production (PPIA, HPLC) by phytoplankton and physicochemical variables were performed to assess the risk of cyanobacterial blooms in selected lakes in N Poland: Jeziorak, Jagodne, Szymoneckie, Szymon, Taltowisko, Siecino and Trzesiecko. The research showed that total phosphorus (0.1 mg P/l) and total nitrogen (1.5 mg N/l) in the studied lakes almost exceeded the limit values for eutrophication of waterbodies. Phytoplankton samples were taken in late summer. Most of the lakes were dominated by oscillatorialean and nostocalean species. Chlorophyll-a higher than 10 ug/l in almost all of the lakes corresponded with the mean concentration of microcystins between 4 and 5 ug/l. The microcystins were dmMC-RR, MC-RR, MC-YR and MC-LR. If microcystin-producing cyanobacteria dominate with 2-4 ug/l of microcystin, symptoms of toxicity could appear in the most sensitive swimmers.
