  • Prostorové uspořádání anod (jedna samostatná anoda; dvě anody vzdálené od sebe 1.3, 1.9 a 3.2 m od sebe) bylo testováno v závislosti na charakteristice elektrického pole vytvářeného před elektrolovnou lodí, a na úlovek ryb. Největší spádové napětí (V/cm) bylo naměřeno tehdy, kdy anody byly vzájemně od sebe ve vzdálenosti 3.2 m. Úlovky se lišily mezi jednotlivými uspořádáními s tím, že nejvyšší byly tehdy, kdy od sebe anody byly co nejdále. Odlišnosti v lovených druzích i velikostní selektivitě byly nevýznamné. Pro elektrolov s podobným vybavením je proto doporučeno rozpětí pro anody přibližně 1.9 m, ale ne více než 2.5 m. (cs)
  • We assessed the effect of boom (i.e., anode) arrangement (single boom; double-booms spaced 1.3, 1.9 and 3.2 m apart) on the characteristics of the electric field formed ahead of an electrofishing boat, and on fish catch. The highest voltage gradients occurred when the anodes had the greatest separation. Catch rates over boom arrangements differed, with catch increasing as the booms were separated. Differences in species and length selectivity over boom arrangements were minor. We suggest that the double-boom arrangement with booms distanced about 1.9 m, but no more than about 2.5 m is suitable for most electrofishing applications.
