  • Sezónní změny v produkci bakterioplanktonu, predaci prvoků na bakteriích a extracelulární produkci fytoplanktonu (EPP) byly studovány na třech odběrových místech (HRÁZ, STŘED, ŘEKA) na podélném profile kaňonovité přehradní nádrže Římov. Zjistili jsme, že v přítoku (ŘEKA) v porovnání s jezerní částí nádrže (HRÁZ a STŘED) jiné zdroje organického uhlíku a mortality bakterií kontrolují dynamiku a složení bakterioplanktonu. V přítoku do nádrže sehrály alochtonní zdroje organického uhlíku hlavní roli. Naopak na stanovištích HRÁZ a STŘED, autochtonní zdroje v podobě EPP byly hlavním a dostatečným zdrojem substrátu pro růst bakterioplanktonu v epilimniu nádrže. Množství EPP významně korelovalo s výskytem Cryptophyta ve fytoplanktonu. Zvýšený podíl určitých skupin bakterií, zejména z podskupiny R-BT065 (Betaproteobacteria), byl významně vázán na období, kdy dominovaly řasy ze skupiny Cryptophyta a současně byla vysoká EPP. (cs)
  • Seasonal changes in the production of bacterioplankton, protistan bacterivory, and extracellular phytoplankton production (EPP) were studied at 3 sampling stations (DAM, MIDDLE and RIVER) located along the longitudinal axis of the canyon-shaped Římov reservoir (CZ). We found that at the river inflow (RIVER), compared to lacustrine parts of the reservoir (MIDDLE and DAM), different sources of organic carbon and of bacterial mortality control bacterioplankton dynamics and community composition. At the RIVER site, allochthonous sources of organic substrates played the prominent role. In contrast, at the lacustrine MIDDLE and DAM stations EPP was an autochthonous source of organic carbon sufficient to meet bacterial carbon demand and it was mainly associated with the seasonal dynamics of cryptophytes. Increased proportions of certain bacterial groups, mainly of the genus-like R-BT065 subcluster of Betaproteobacteria, was detected for the periods dominated by cryptophytes with high EPP.
