Description	In the years 1999-2001 many-sides reles of grasslands have been studied under different conditions of the Southwest Bohemia and by dufferent nutrition levels. The highest primary production in this area varied from 550 (unfertilised swards) to 600 m above sea level (fertilised swards). The yields of the unfertilised grasslands declined gradually (faster in higher altitudes and on shallow soils) whilst under regular fertilisation the yields were stable or slightly increasing. Together with it also the production effectivity of applied nutrients grew in the extent (toward higher altitudes and places with shalow soils) and in the course of time, too. That is why the long-term experiments are extraordinary valuable, mainly from the point of wiew of the ecosystem studies. It is necessary to take into consideration also the influence of pratotechnical treatments in the time consecaution because during the time the swards tend to differ distinctively.
