Description	Associations were investigated between physiology and immunocompetence of common carp during the year. Seasonal changes played key role in affecting the analyzed measurements. Correlation analysis revealed relationships between measures of overall host physiology, immunity and parasite load if temporal variability effect was removed. Analyzing separately parasite groups with different life-strategies, fish with worse condition status were infected more by monogeneans, the most abundant group. High infection by cestodes seems to activate the phagocytes. No direct trade-off between the measures of host immunity and physiology was confirmed with seasonality but seasonal variability seems to affects host immunity and physiology through energy allocation in a trade-off between life functions: reproduction and fish condition. Host immunity measures were not found in a trade-off with physiological functions, but we confirmed immunosuppressive role of 11-KT on fish immunity measured by complement activity.
