| - Small and medium sized enterprises, as a vast majority of entrepreneurial subjects all over the world, present the driving force throughout the economy. There is a wide range of characteristics, that make small and medium sized enterprises significant actor of way out of crisis; not only the economic one, which we are facing over last years, but also the social crisis of moral decline, which is spreading already for few decades. New direction of development is given by trend of sustainability, which is already familiar and has penetrated to all spheres of society. In the corporate sector, we are talking about corporate social responsibility. This new philosophy integrates into business not only economic issues but also social and environmental ones trying to find balance between profitability and responsibility. Enterprises increasingly follow this direction and refocus their strategies from ?profit? into ?profit, people, planet?. This strategy can bring enough benefits, if it becomes essential part of everyday business governance. The aim of this paper is to describe analytically corporate social responsibility of small and medium sized enterprises and on the basis of financially healthy enterprises create scheme of good practice.
