Description	In this paper, we describe an approach of teaching e-commerce which aim is that students acquire practical knowledge and skills. Knowledge and skills as for example the design of a business plan, basic overview of e-commerce technology, the use of marketing tools, communication skills and other skills related to design, implementation and operation of e-commerce belong to what students should learn in this course. An important part of this approach is the working on projects in teams, enabling also the development of communication skills and critical thinking. The evaluation of results show that the focus on solving practical problems and teamwork bring positive results and this teaching approach is evaluated by students as very good.
