  • In last years some experimental methods for surface treatment and technology that use the plasma discharge burning at atmospheric pressure have been developed. For instance there are RF torch discharge or RF barrier torch discharge with one or both electrodes covered by dielectric layer. For applications it is necessary to know basic parameters influenced the process of plasma surface treatment and deposition of thin films. The temperature of neutral working gas flow that stabilized the discharge is oneof these parameters. For measurement we have used the holographic interferometry method that was tested on modelled interferograms and on candle flame before. We have measured just the temperature of neutral gas flow in two various configurations of RF discharge burning at atmospheric pressure.
