Description	The standard small-plot polyfactorial experiments was established in České Budějovice from 1997 till 1999 (elevation 380 m, mean annual temperature 7,8°C, annual precipitation 620 mm, acid pseudogley kambizem soil) with eight genotypes of amaranth (A.hybrid-K 432, K 433, Koniz, Dakota, A.hypochondriacus-No 1008, Acruentus-A 200 D, Amar 2 RR, Olpir). We observed the effect of sowing term (in week intervals), planting density (24 a 36 plants /m2) and dressing (0 and 50 kg N/ha) on the yield. The h ighest yield was created at sowing term in half of May. But the effect of sowing term on yield was evident at all genotypes. The effect of nitrogen dressing manifested itself positively in all the years. The effect of planting density was evident too,. With higher planting density was higher yields, except 1998 year. (en) V letech 1997 až 1999 byl na stanovišti v Českých Budějovicích (nadmořská výška 380 m, průměrná roční teplota 7,8°C, roční úhrn srážek 620 mm, půda kambizem kyselá (oglejená) založen po lyfaktoriální maloparcelkový pokus s osmi vybranými genotypy rostlin amarantu (A. hybrid-K 432, K 433, Koniz, Dakota, A. hypochondriacus-No 1008, A.cruentus-A 200 D, Amar 2 RR, Olpir). V pokusech byl sledován vliv termínu výsevu ( v týdenních intervalech), rozdílné hustoty (24 a 36 rostlin/m2) a hnojení (0 a 50 kg N/ha) na výnos. U všech genotypů byl prokázáín vliv termínu výsevu na výnos - nejvyšší výnos byl při setí v polovině května. Rovněž se ve všech letech pozitivně projevilo dusíkaté hnojení. Vliv na výnos měla i hustota - při vyšší hustotě se, s vyjímkou roku 1998, zvýšil i výnos.
