Description	Small- plot experiments with the marginal crop of amaranth were carried out in České Budějovice (at a school plot belonging to the Department of Plant production, the University of South Bohemia) in 1998. The following amaranth cultivars were seeded i nto a soil naturally infested by the Fusarium fungi: K 432 Amaranthus hybrid, K 433 Amaranthus hybrid, Koniz Amaranthus hypochondriacus, Dakota Amaranthus cruentus, No 1008 Amaranthus hypochondriacus, A 200 D Amaranthus cruentus and Amar RR 150 Amaranthus cruentus. The plants were not treated by fungicides during their vegetation. We concentrated on the parasitic Fusarium and Penicilium fungi which had been chosen as representatives of pathogenic fungi affecting storage conditions of amaranth seeds. (en) V roce 1998 probíhaly maloparcelkové pokusy s okrajovou obilninou amarant na stanovišti v Českých Budějovicích (školní pozemek katedry rostlinné výroby ZF JU). Do půdy přirozeně zamořené houbami rodu Fusarium se vysely následující odrůdy: K 432 Amaranthus hybrid, K 433 Amaranthus hybrid, Koniz Amaranthus hypochondriacus, Dakota Amaranthus cruentus, No 1008 Amaranthus hypochondriacus, A 200 D Amaranthus cruentus a Amar RR 150 Amaranthus cruentus. Během veget ace nebyly rostliny ošetřeny fungicidy. Z patogenních hub podílejících se na problematice skladování semen amarantu jsme soustředili na parazitické houby rodu Fusarium a Penicilium, které druhově determinovány nebyly.
