Description	Yields ang qualitative parameters of table potatoes, varieties Adéla, Bionta, Ditta and Magda, such as starch content and tuber size categories, were evaluated under organic and conventional farming in field experiments in Lukavec, during 2006-2008. Potatoes were cultivated after two preceding crops and subjected to analyses. Based on analyses, significant difference between the conventional system and the organic system in tuber yields was found. The potato yield after red clover was for about 8 t/ha higher than that after winter wheat amended with manure. No significant differences in yield were observed among the varieties. Potato yields differed in both growing systems during the observed years. Starch content depended on potato variety but did not depend on the growing system.
