Description	The impact of grazing on milk performance and health of dairy cows was surveyed on sub-mountain farms. The higher milk, fat and protein yields were found in grazing season in comparison with winter confinement period. The health problems incidence did not differ substantially between the seasons but it was significantly lower on farms with seasonal pasture in comparison to a farm with total mixed ration feeding without pasture allowance for cows. This study revealed the positive effect of seasonal grazing on both the milk production and animal welfare aspects of cattle breeding on surveyed farms. (en) V podhorských podnicích byl sledován vliv pastvy na mléčnou produkci a zdraví dojnic. Během pastevní sezóny byla zjištěny vyšší produkce mléka, tuku a bílkovin v mléce v porovnání se zbytkem roku. Výskyt zdravotních problému se nelišil příliš mezi sezónami, byl ale významně nižší u pasených stád než u celoročně ustájeného chovu, kde byly krávy krmeny směsnou krmnou dávkou a neměly přístup na pastvinu. Tato práce zjistila pozitivní vliv pastvy jak na mléčnou produkci, tak na zdraví dojnic u sledovaných podniků. (cs)
