  • Vzájemná diverzita 29 stálých tůní a říčních ramen v nivě Lužnice byla analyzována z hlediska rozlohy, hloubky, tvaru, zaplavení a zastínění vegetací. Byly odebírány vzorky ve všech ročních obdobích na chemickou analýzu, složení a biomasu fytoplanktonu a složení zooplanktonu. Lokality jsou pravidelně zaplavované, eutrofní a často ve stínu vegetace. Cryptophyceae, Chrysophyceae a Euglenophyceae dominují fytoplanktonu, sinice jsou vzácné. V druhově bohatém zooplankonu dominují perloočky a vířníci. Korelační matice a multivariační analýza ukazují, že zastíněné a poměrně hluboké lokality mají nižší saturaci O2 a vyšší koncentraci PO4-P a NH4-N. Zastínění a hloubka negativně korelují s biomasou fytoplanktonu a počtem druhů, a pozitivně s kryptomonádami a velikostí perlooček,tudíž indikují omezené míchání a dosažitelnost světla a malý tlak ryb na herbivory. Rozklad spadlého listí zvyšuje spotřebu O2, přitom stín vegetace omezuje fotosyntézu a produkci O2 Plošně větší místa jsou druhově bohatší (cs)
  • To propose a concept of their mutual diversity, 29 permanent shallow floodplain pools and oxbows in the river Luznice floodplain were analysed for morphometry, water chemistry, shading , flooding and plankton comunities. The sites are regularly flooded, eutrophic, and often shaded by surrounding vegetation. Cryptophyceae, Chrysophyceae and Euglenophyceae dominated the phytoplankton, while Cyanophytes were rare. Within the zooplankton assemblage, cladocerans and rotifers dominated. Multivariate analyses indicated that shaded and relatively deeper sites had lower oxygen saturation and higher concentrations of PO4-P and NH4-N. Shade and relative depth correlated negatively with phytoplankton biomass and number of algal taxa, and positively with Cryptophytes and large cladocerans thus indicating poor mixing, poor light availability and low fish pressure on herbivores. Larger sites were more species- rich in algae and supported Euglenophyceae, green algae and rotifers.
