| Description
| - The view of tourists and visitors, local population and fishermen on the overpopulation of cormorant in the Třeboňsko Landscape protected Area was studied. The view of fishermen differes from other resposndents due the knowledge about the biologiy of cormorant evidently. The view of fishermen on the solution of conflict is relative simple (eradication of birds). The tourists and visitors have relatively weak information about the conflict. On the other side this group is for the protection of birds and sustainable reduction of migrating population. The local population knows well about the conflict and the solution is more %22ecological%22 than fishermen (controlled shooting and compensations for fishermen). The social dimension should be kept in mind during the planning processes of cormorant conservation. The recent rhetoric that the conservation measures are only %22biological facts%22 must be changed if the better acceptance of nature conservation is seriously thinking.

- Byl studován názor rybářů, turistů a návštěvníků a lokální populace na přemnožení kormorána v Evropě a jeho konflikt s rybářstvím v CHKO Třeboňsko. Názory rybářů se evidentně lišily od ostatních respondentů znalostí biologie kormorána. Rybáři měli jednoduchý recept na řešení konfliktu (omezení početnosti kormorána). Turisté a návštěvníci měli relativně velmi malé povědomí o konfliktu. Na druhé straně byli více pro ochranu kormorána a řízenou redukci jeho migrantní populace. Lokální obyvatelé mají dobré povědomí o konfliktu a jeho řešení vidí v kontrolované regulaci tažných ptáků a kompenzacích rybářům. Sociální dimenze by měla být brána v úvahu při plánování opatření v ochraně přírody. Současná rétorika, že ochrana přírody je jen %22biologický fakt%22 by měla být změněna z důvodu její větší akceptovatelnosti. (cs)
