| Description
| - Work deals with monitoring of mercury in water, sediment and fish in watershed Malše river with drinking water reservoir Římov, and Blanice river with reservoir Husinec in south Bohemia. Presented data are from years 1998 to 2003. There was discovered statisticaly significant interaction between waterflow and mercury concentration in water during owerflow 2002 and causes are discused. Calculated enrichment factors for mercury in each investigated components in this ecosystems confirm very good applicability used fish Abramis brama for mercury biomonitoring in surface water ecosystems. Relatively low values of mercury enrichment factors between sediments and waters (350-700) arise also from easy remobilization Hg by operation of pH>7, this fact was verify in laboratory experiments with sediments from both watersheds.
