  • The aim of the research work was to assess differences in yield formation of naked and husked oats and to determine the affecting factors. The attention was focused on testing of panicle productivity.The exact field small-plot experiments with three naked oats varieties (Abel, Izak, and Salomon) and with three husked oats varieties (Auron, Edmund, and Expander) were carried out in two Austrian sites (Lambach and Freistadt) and in two Czech sites (České Budějovice and Humpolec) during 1999-2001. There were determined mainly panicle length (LP), number of whorls (NW), number of branches (NB), number of spikelets (NS), number of grains (NG) and weight of grains per panicle (WG).   • Účelem výzkumu bylo posouzení rozdílů v tvorbě výnosů nahého a pluchatého ovsa a určení vlivu faktorů, které je ovlivňují. Zvláštní pozornost byla věnována studiu produktivity laty.V letech 1999-2001 probíhaly na 2 stanovištích v Rakousku (Lambach a Freistadt) a dvou stanovištích v ČR (České Budějovice, Humpolec) exaktní polní maloparcelkové pokusy se třemi odrůdami nahého ovsa (Abel, Izak a Salomon) a třemi odrůdami pluchatého ovsa (Auron, Edmund, Expander). Při rozborech lat byla mj. zjišťována délka laty (LP),počet pater (NW), počet větví (NB), počet klásků (NS), počet zrn (NG) a hmotnost zrn v latě (WG). Průměrné hodnoty sklizňového indexu byly (Husked/Naked) 45,8/39,7 (%) v negativní relaci k výšce rostlin 975/1044 (mm) a v pozitivním vztahu k WG 1,9/1,5 (g). Pluchaté odrůdy dosahovaly vyšší průměrné hodnoty u všech výnosových prvků. Porosty pluchatých odrůd měly vyšší sklizňovou hustotu 303/288 (lat/m2) při výsevku 450/500 (zrn/m 2) a při minimální variabilitě koeficientu produktivního odnožení (cs)
