Description	The content of foreign substances in tissues of marketable common carp an in bottom sediments from Dřemliny pond has been monitored in 1991, 1992, 1999 and 2001. The following substances have been studied: Hg, Pb, Cd, Zn, Cu, Cr, Ni, As, PCB, HCH, H CB, DDT and OCS. Hygienic limits for the content in muscle have not been exceeded in any substance under study. Statistical comparison of the muscle contamination showed a higher mercury content and nickel content in 2001 compared to 1991. On the other hand contents of cadmium, copper and zinc were higher in 1991. The contents of HCH and OCS went down in the respective periods and the content of PCB incerased double between 1992 and 1999. Bottom sediments did not indicate any expressive contamination with metals and organic substances. Contents of all substances under study show downtrend. So Dřemliny pond may be considered for the relatively unloaded with foreign substances. (en) Cílem práce bylo shrnutí výsledků stanovení obsahu kovů, polychlorovaných bifenylů a perzistentních organochlorových polutantů ve tkáních tržních kaprů a sedimentech dna ze šesti vybraných rybníků v ČR. Obsah polutantů ve svalovině kapra obecného p lně vyhovuje platným hygienickým limitům,přestože kontaminace sedimentů dna byla u některých rybníků zvýšena.
