Description
  • Both effective method for analysis of periodic forces response of cyclically symmetric structures and the analytical formulation of friction interface elements for nonlinear connecting members between adjacent sectors are used in the authors' in-house software for the analysis of multi-harmonic vibrations in frequency domain. To achieve an accurate calculation of the performed analyses, it is necessary to specify the corresponding contact interface stiffness values. This problem is particularly discussed in this paper. As an example, amplitudes of vibrations of a steam-turbine shrouded bladed disk with torsion excitation are determined as a result of calculation.
