| - Cílem tohoto projektu je získat anotované znaky z televizních zpráv pro neslyšící. Zdrojem je turecká TV TRT. V těchto zprávách je znakující moderátor, který komentuje zprávy mluvenou řečí a zároveň znakuje. Dále jsou v obraze obsaženy doprovodné titulky, které obsahují stejný text. Celý záznam zpráv lze segmentovat na jednotlivé znaky s využitím rozpoznávání řeči a titulků. Vytvořená aplikace slouží jako slovník znakové řeči, kde uživatel zadá slovo, které se vyhledá v databázi získaných znaků a tento znak se zobrazí. Další využití aplikace je automatická tvorba databází znaků pro účely trénování systémů pro rozpoznávání řeči. (cs)
- In this project we aim to obtain annotated sign data from the broadcast news recordings for the hearing impaired. These recordings from Turkish Radio Television channel (TRT) present an excellent source for automatically generating annotated data. In news for the hearing impaired, the speaker also signs with the hands as she talks. On top of this, there is also corresponding text superimposed on the video. The video of the signer could be segmented via the help of either the speech or both the speech and the text, generating segmented, and annotated sign videos. We aim to use this application as a sign dictionary where the users enter a word as text and retrieve sign videos of the related sign with several examples. This application can also be used to automatically create annotated sign databases that can be used for training recognizers.
