Description
  • DC electromagnetic actuators with permanent magnets are devices with promising parameters and operation characteristics (relatively high forces at reasonable shifts) that can be used in numerous industrial applications. Their properties follow particularly from the arrangement of the permanent magnets in their magnetic circuits (that may be connected in series, in parallel) or even in more complicated ways. The paper deals with their numerical FEM-based modeling and searching of optimal configurations. The theoretical analysis is illustrated on several examples whose results are discussed.
