Description
  • The article deals with the simulation of traction drive created by asynchronous motors fed from voltage converter. The work is focus mainly on the failure phenomenon, which occurs due to a long-term breaking of energy supply into the DC link of the voltage converter. During the simulation balanced three-phase system is assumed (ia+ib+ic=0), the motor magnetization characteristic is neglected and the usual way of the pulse-width modulation of the converter voltage is used.
