  • Research Centre of Forming Technology - FORTECH deals with ultra-fine-grained structures of metal materials. One of two approaches for obtaining these structures is CGP (constrained groove pressing). During CGP, materials are formed at room temperature and hence there are high stresses on swages. The goal was to design a new forming tool especially intended for forming high-strength steels. A new tool was designed capable of a higher forming load and quick switching of two swage pairs. The new design of swages is based on a previous one intended for forming aluminium alloys. CAD and FEM analyses were used.

  • Výzkumné centrum tvářecích technologií - FORTECH se zabývá zjemňováním struktury kovových materiálů. Jeden ze způsobů, jak dosáhnout těchto struktur je CGP (constrained groove pressing). Během CGP jsou materiály tvářeny při pokojové teplotě, což způsobuje vysoké namáhání kovadel. Cílem práce bylo navržení konstrukce nového tvářecího nástroje určeného pro zpracování vysocepevných materiálů. Nový kovací nástroj byl zkonstruován s ohledem na vysokou pevnost a rychlost záměny nástrojů. Konstrukce částečnš vychází z předchozího nástroje určeného pro slitiny hliníku. CAD a FEM analýzy byly použity. (cs)
