| - Cílem pokusu bylo určit možný vliv doplňku leucinu na pre- a postprandiální změny v koncentraci methioninu v krevní plasmě. Pokus byl proveden na čtyřech laktujících holštýnských dojnicích s průměrnou hmotností 527 kg (SEM = 31.5) ve formě „cross-over“ designu, který byl rozdělen do 2 period, každá v délce 14 dní. Dojnice byly individuálně krmeny dvakrát denně ad libitum krmnou dávkou složenou z kukuřičné siláže, vojtěškového sena a doplňkové krmné směsi. Kontrolní krmná dávka (C) byla deficitní v leucinu, pokusná krmná dávka (Leu) byla doplněna leucinem podaným ve formě ruminálně chráněných tablet. Příjem sušiny, mléčná užitkovost a obsah proteinu a tuku v mléce nebyl pokusným zásahem ovlivněn (P>0.05). Pre- a postprandiální změny v koncentraci methioninu v plasmě nebyly mezi skupinami průkazně odlišné (P>0.05). Průměrná koncentrace methioninu v plasmě byla u skupiny C = 4.11 mg/g a u Leu = 3.97 mg/g nebyla ovlivněna pokusným zásahem (P>0.05). (cs)
- The objective of this experiment was to determine the posible effect of supplemental leucine on pre- and postprandial concentrations of plasma methionine. The experiment was carried out on four lactating Holstein cows weighing on average 527 kg (SEM = 31.5) in the form of “cross-over design” and was divided into 2 periods of 14 d. Cows were fed individually twice daily ad libitum the diet based on corn silage, alfalfa hay and a supplemental mixture. The control diet (C) was defficient in leucine, the experimental diet (Leu) was supplemented with leucine added in the form of rumen protected tablets. The dry matter intake, milk yield and percentage of milk fat and protein were not affected by the treatment (P>0.05). Pre- and postprandial changes in plasma concentration of methionine did not show any significant differences between experimental groups (P>0.05). The overall mean plasma concentration of methionine in C was 4.11 and in Leu 3.97 mg/g and was not significantly different (P>0.05).
