Description
  • The aim of the study was to evaluate changes in chemical composition and in organic matter digestibility influenced by different natural fertilizers’ application and different intensity of utilization of permanent grassland during 2005 and 2006. The long-term small plot trial was established in 2004 in locality Rapotin. The trial was managed with three levels of cutting intensity simulating grazing during years 2005 and 2006. Each utilization treatment was divided to give different ways of natural fertilizers application (mixture of cow manure and dung-water; cow slurry) by the model stocking rate of 0.9; 1.4 and 2 LU.ha-1. The chemical composition of the forage was evaluated on the basis of the Weende analysis and there was also estimated the organic matter digestibility (OMD) by means of Tilley and Terry method (1968) modified according Resch (1991). The results showed, that the higher dose of both types of natural fertilizers combined with higher intensity of utilization significantly influenced t
