Description	Germany’s influence in the eurozone has of course grown, and Germany has asserted its own interpretation of the crisis, according to which the main cause of the difficulties is excessive sovereign debt. In contrast to Poland, the Czech governments of 2006-2010 led by the Civic Democrats (ODS) followed what could be labelled a strategy of economic co-operation and institutional opt-out. At the same time, the importance of Germany for eurozone revival and for Czech economy motivated the eurosceptical Civic Democrats to pursue a strategy of 'conflict denial' in order to minimize the damage and to compensate for both non-membership in the eurozone as well as for detachment from German policy and the European mainstream. They emphasised unity with Germany when it comes to economic and fiscal policy and argued they co-operated and co-ordinated with Germany within the EU more than ever . (en) Deutschlands Einfluss in der Eurozone ist offenkundig gewachsen und es hat seine eigene Kriseninterpretation, in der exzessive Staatsverschuldung die Hauptursache der Probleme ist. Im Gegensatz zu Polen haben die tschechischen Regierungen unter Führung der Demokratischen Bürgerpartei (ODS) eine Strategie verfolgt, die man als wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und 'opt-out' bei Institutio-nen beschreiben kann. Die Bedeutung Deutschlands für das Wiedererstar-ken der Eurozone und für die tschechische Wirtschaft brachte die euro-skeptische Demokratische Bürgerpartei (ODS) dazu, eine Strategie der 'Konfliktleugnung' zu verfolgen, um den Schaden zu minimieren und die Nichtmitgliedschaft in der Eurozone sowie die Distanzierung von der deutschen Linie und dem europäischen Mainstream auszugleichen. Sie be-tonte die Übereinstimmung mit Deutschland in der Wirtschafts- und Fis-kalpolitik und dass sich Tschechien in der EU stärker denn je mit Deutsch-land abstimme und mit ihm zusammenarbeite
