Description	The main aim of this article is to study the Okun's Law - the mutual relationship between the gross domestic product (GDP) and unemployment rate time series - on data from two transition countries, in this case on data from the Czech and Slovak Republics in 1995-2010. The analysis is based on two versions of Okun's law - the difference and the gap version of the Okun's law. Estimations of Okun's law coefficients show the persistence of basic rule - the GDP growth causes the unemployment rate decrease. However, estimations based on the Czech and Slovak data sets give different results comparing to those from the US time series.
