Description	Selected topics of monograph deal with the description of knowledge and the empirical analysis of socio-cultural diversity of the population in the Czech-Polish border, which was documented by a data survey (2010). Sum testimony captured the majority opinion and attitude of the population in selected topics and presented arguments to understand the life in the region. Territorially defined regions are also conditioned to its objective characteristics, subjective approaches and pragmatic considerations. The team of authors focused on content analysis of heterogeneous region of Czech-Polish border due to the fact, that the area of the Moravian-Silesian Region (6 units) and Opole Voivodeship (11 units) are characterized in certain degree by its non-regular structure and functional specializations of certain parts (eg industrial Ostrava-Karvina vs. rural areas of Opole) and come through in different statistical indicators such as unemployment rates, income levels, degree of education in a particular area, quantity of industry or agriculture, etc. Selected topics of monograph deal with the description of knowledge and the empirical analysis of socio-cultural diversity of the population in the Czech-Polish border, which was documented by a data survey (2010).
