  • Material of trial rotor made of m,artensitic X12CrMoWVNbN10-1-1 steel underwent creep testing to the rupture in the temperature range from 500 °C to 600 °C. Microstructures of selected specimens tested at 500 °C and 575 °C that ruptured after exposures exceeding 100,000 hrs and 60,000 hrs, respectively, were studied in detail using light, scanning and transmission electron microscopy. Quantitative analysis of substructure was carried out. Tempered martensite consisted of ferritic laths with subgrains, coarse particles at grain and subgrain boundaries and fine intragranular precipitate. A significant increase in size of subgrains and a slight growth of coarse particles of secondary phases were found out after the test at conditions 500 °C/250 MPa/107,514 hrs, while volume fraction of particles was almost the same as in virgin material. Time to rupture was almost twice longer than it was predicted. Influence of microstructural changes on the creep strength is discussed.

  • Materiál experimentálního rotoru zhotoveného z martenzitické oceli X12CrMoWVNbN10-1-1 byl podroben zkouškám tečení do lomu v rozsahu teplot 500 až 600 °C. U vybraných zkoušek při 500 a 575 °C s expoziční dobou přesahující 100 000 h a 60 000 h byl proveden podrobný mikrostrukturní rozbor zahrnující vedle světelné mikroskopie i řádkovací a transmisní elektronovou mikroskopii replik a tenkých fólií. Substruktura tvořená feritickými laťkami se subzrny, hrubými částicemi na hranicích zrn a subzrn a jemným intragranulárním precipitátem byla kvantitativně vyhodnocena. Po zkoušce tečení 500 °C/250 MPa/107 5214 h byl zaznamenán výrazný růst subzrn a mírné zhrubnutí částic sekundárních fází, přičemž objemový podíl částic byl téměř stejný jako ve výchozím materiálu. Doba do lomu tohoto vzorku byla téměř dvakrát delší než bylo předpokládáno. Je diskutován vliv mikrostrukturních změn na creepovou pevnost. (cs)
