Description	The aim of this essay is to explain the neglect and silence surrounding the author's dramatic oeuvre on the basis of available studies and the critical reception. It further attempts to situate these works of art in the context of the history of American drama and theater, in order to point out their exceptional character, worthy of further critical attention. (en) Ennek az esszének az a célja, hogy a szerző drámai munkásságáról elérhető kritikákat és tanulmányokat áttekintve megindokolja az alkotó drámainak elhanyagoltságát és elhallgatottságát, elhelyezze e műveket az amerikai drámaírás és színháztörténet kontextusában, és ezen keresztül rámutasson azok kiemelkedő és figyelemre érdemes voltára.
