Description	As for the term „mathematics“, it is interpreted in this book in the same way at it was interpreted by the Prague Jesuits in the 17th and the first half of the 18th century, i.e. very wide (including astronomy, elements of experimental physics, construction of sundials and so on). The book is divided in two parts. In the first one, G. Schuppener studies the development of the mathematical education in Clementinum before 1654. %22In the second part, K. Mačák gives a list of all mathematical works written in Clementinum before 1740 and studies some of them in greater detail; it is the case of the works of M. Coppylius, J.Hancke, T. Moretus, I.Mühlwenzel a J. Kresa.%22 (en) Pokud se termínu „matematika“ týče, je v této knize pojímán stejně, jako byl v 17. a v první polovině 18. století pojímán pražskými jezuity, tj. velice široce (včetně astronomie, základů experimentální fyziky, konstrukce slunečních hodin atd.). %22Kniha je rozdělena do dvou částí. V první části G. Schuppener zkoumá vývoj matematického vzdělávaní v Klementinu do r. 1654. Ve druhé části uvádí K. Mačák seznam všech klementinských matematických spisů do r. 1740 a některé z nich studuje podrobněji; %22jedná se o práce M. Coppylia, J.Hanckeho, T. Moreta, I.Mühlwenzela a J. Kresy.
