Description
| - FLUENT software program is used to simulate and analysis the motion of airflow in jet nozzle which is applied in spinning technology. The understanding of airflow motion is helpful for modifying the structure of nozzle which is closely related to the yarn properties and productivity. In this work, different orifice (tangentially injected) number and diameter are studied. The results showed that the velocities increase as the orifice number and diameter. Therefore, the nozzle with more orifices and lager diameter increases the utilization ratio of energy, can produce better yarn, as well as the higher production efficiency. But on the other hand, the cost of nozzle with more orifice increases and the precision of nozzle decrease due to the difficulty of nozzle manufacturing.
