Description
  • This article describes a method of production optically conductive individual micro/nano fibers. These fibers are not produced by electrospinning but by the method of drawing. It is based on the principle of drawing the micro/nano fibers from polymer solution droplet without using electric field. The biggest advantage of this method is the possibility of exact deposit pulled micro/nano fibers. This paper describes an experiment with a solution of polystyrene (PS) and polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA). Fibers from these polymers are characterized by their optical conductivity. Intended use of single nanofibers is in nano-optics.
