  • In this paper, nonwoven textiles produced from metal coated fibers by the means of pneumatic web formation were studied. The influence of several parameters on the temperature behavior of nonwovens during applying electric current has been determined by measuring the temperature of samples. The variables factors of nonwoven samples were as follows: length of fiber, mass per unit area of basic layer, width of sample and thickness of sample. Whole experiment was designed by means of software MiniTab. It was found that length of fiber, mass per unit area of basic layer, width of sample and interaction length of fiber*width of sample have influence on heating. Interactions of other effects do not have significant effect on temperature behavior during applying electric current.
