| - We investigated the real structure of eleven samples of cotton bed-ticking in a plain binding. Experimental part is based on preparation of soft sections of the fabrics. Taken pictures are usually processed by a human - it means that the human is looking for geometrical properties and results depend only on his personal estimation. We proposed semi-automatic method for obtaining geometrical parameters from the pictures which consists from drawing yarn cross-section, area, perimeter and equivalent diameter. Proposed method gives more presice results in much shorter time compared to the manual methods used up to now. Our analysis showed that yarn cross-section are deformed during technological process to the asymmetric lens defined by three parameters.Than two geometrical hypothesis about preservation area and perimeter are showed and results are dicsussed.

- Sypkoviny můžeme řadit mezi tkaniny se speciálním použitím. Jsou z nich vyráběny polštáře a přikrývky. Z toho důvodu musí splňovat především požadavek na nepropustnost peří (nebo jiného výplňkového materiálu) skrz svoji strukturu. Tato nepropustnost je docílena malými mezinitnými póry, které jsou vytvořeny úpravou zvanou kalandrování. Tato úprava má za následek výraznou změnu struktury tkaniny. Jednotlivé příze se po působení kalandru zdeformují. Tento příspěvek se zabývá zkoumáním geometrických relací ve vazném bodě sypkovin. Je zřejmé, že pro uvedený účel existuje několik modelů, které popisují tvar a geometrické souvislosti ve vazném bodě tkanin, avšak pro tak specifickou strukturu, jako je kalandrovaná struktura sypkovin, nebyl tento model zatím zpracován. V příspěvku je zadefinován typický tvar průřezu přízí ve vazném bodě sypkovin, jako nepravidelná čočka a jsou definovány i její typické rozměry. (cs)
