Description	Van Wyk',s theory of contact between fibers is based on the random occurrence of contact between fibers without any restriction on the fibers, which are already in contact. This mathematical model takes in con-sideration the fact that when a fiber %22contacts another fiber, an %22%22occupied%22%22 place will be is blocked on the fiber. This means that the whole length of the fiber will not be more available for another contacts. The distribution of contact points in a fiber assembly with spatial %22 and plane isotropic fiber orientation was formulated. The mean number of contact points and the size of distance between contact points were derived.
