| - It is possible to conclude from the results that a statistically significant association between globalization and governance matters was demonstrated for both groups of countries. There are moderately correlated relationships between the economic and social dimensions of globalization and the quality of governance in the case of developing countries and strong correlated relationships between the economic and social dimensions of globalization and the quality of governance in the case of developed market economies. Even if the evidence of a closer relationship between the economic and social globalization (EG and SG-KOF) and WGIs in developed countries, where it was shown that an increase in both sub-indicators of globalization by one point, will produce slightly better results in improving the quality of governance in emerging markets. This is probably caused by the fact that while it is rather about improving the ethical and finer elements of functioning governance in developed countries, it is still about fundamental issue of government functions in developing countries. The quality of governance is not only less dependent on political rather than economic and social globalization (as the authors expected), but it is not significantly correlated with the political dimension of globalization, and it even correlated negatively in the case of emerging markets. This may be a result of the fact that political globalization does not reflect the qualitative aspects of the involvement of countries in political globalization.
