Description	The article deals with the organisation, with the risk of its size and with impact on its competitiveness. The definition divides small to medium enterprises into three groups. It is insufficient from an organisation function view in domestic market conditions. A competitive organisation needs group or a right team with an enough size in other to ensure all activities, which it needs for its production. The organisation needs team as small that it will manage easily at the same time. The organisation, which grows over a certain size, gets to the situation with many risks. These risks concern human systems mainly. Consequences will felt by the external customer, but the strongest pressure is on the internal customer.
