Description
| - Electro hydrodynamic atomization EHDA belongs to the methods that are utilized for particle production and defined thin surface layers with final proportions in nanoscale range. The laser light based visualization method Particle Tracking Velocimetry - PTV has significant benefit of feasibility studies of the particle formation mechanism and rising particles movement in outer electric field. This paper is focused on the application of the PTV for the EHDA of glycerol and its mixtures with ethanol and NaCl. These chemical substances differ in their properties such as conductivity, surface tension and dielectric constant so we can observe different spray characteristics and geometries. Observation by help of this visualization technique performed on the chosen kind of aerosols could enable the prediction of the total behavior of this phenomenon.
