  • Mezi všemi metodami pro popis podélné osy vlákenného svazku se metoda diskrétní Fourierovy transformace (DFT) jeví jako nejlepší. Bere v úvahu (kvazi)periodicitu osy svazky a její hlavní výstup, spektrum, má jednoznačnou interpretaci.DFT lze aplikovat nejméně dvěma způsoby, pro popis jednak kvazi-periodické funkce, jednak uzavřené křivky. Avšak neuvážené použití DFT může vést k nežádoucím jevům, zejména rozmazávání spektra, které komplikuje efektivní využití výsledků.Práce uvádí hlavní aplikace DFT: aproximace podélné osy svazku, filtrování spektra za účelem redukce experimentálních chyb (ohyb vzorku). Rovněž je uvedena praktická metoda pro snížení rozmazání spektra, které je způsobeno nevhodným vzorkováním.Metody DFT lze takém použít pro účinnou aproximaci uzavřené křivky obecného tvaru. Tou může být řez dutinou v kompozitu. Práce obsahuje ilustrativní a praktické výsledky přednostně v grafické formě. (cs)
  • Among all applicable methods for yarn axis description the Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) appears as the best suitable one. It respects yarn (quasi)periodicity and its main output, the spectrum, has simple and straightforward physical meaning.The DFT can be applied at least in two ways for quasi-periodic function and general closed curve description. However, the non-careful use of DFT leads to unwanted effects, such as spectrum leakage that complicates efficient use of outputs.Main applications of DFT are presented: efficient yarn axis approximation, spectrum filtering for removing of experimental errors (like sample bending). Practical method for leakage effect reduction, due by incorrect sampling, is shown.The DFT can be also used for the effective approximation of general form of closed curve that is a contour of void cuts in composite structure. Illustration and practical results are mainly in graphical form.
